The product is from China and S Korea and assembled in Corpus Christi, TX. I would not call this safe the highest quality safe. Seems like higher gauged lower quality steel. Did not seem like it weighed 121 lbs as advertised. But it is a good safe for the price. It fits in my office drawer and gives me the protection that I was seeking. I am happy with the purchase and would order from GunSafes.com again if I needed a safe.
