These units leave plenty of room underneath for cargo storage. The Sedan Locker has multiple options for opening (remote or manual key override). The drawer used in this locker is the same drawer that is used in the SUV locker. If you are going to be updating to an SUV in the future, you do not have to purchase an entirely new locker, you will just need to buy the SUV enclosure
